Ex-Pro lenses are double threaded allowing you to install them in addition to other lenses you already have installed or which are included with this pack (For example a UV lens).

Polarising filters allow you to remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass etc. They also enable colour to become more saturated and appear clearer, with better contrast.
